Rock climbing has been thriving in Peru over last years. Specially Andes mountains have a lot to offer in this field. Close to Huaraz you will find plenty of awesome rocks to climb; sport, trad or Boulder. Often all in the same sector.
In Huaraz we have many Rock Climbing and Bouldering zones. We have various types of rock such as sedimentary, granite, sandstone, volcanic conglomerate, etc. In many places, the routs are already bolted. We organize one-day and several-day excursions and courses in different places. The activities that we offer are twofold: For beginners we have places to learn and practice basic skills. There are also more technical spots, recommended for more experienced climbers, where you can improve your climbing ability or just have fun practicing this lovely sport. Lastly, we offer climbing courses on perfect rocks.
