Climbing Mateo

Itinerary

We start from Huaraz city on averaging 3:30 a.m. to 4:00 a.m, we go to the province of Carhuaz from which we will deviate to enter the beautiful valley of Ulta and we will climb until we reach Olympic Point where we can find the highest tunnel in the world to 4700m. After take rest briefly, we prepare our equipment to go to the top of the mountain located at 5100 m from height, from where you can see the highest peaks of Peru, as Huascaran South Mountain, Chopicalqui, Ulta and others. After a while, we take our transport to return to Huaraz.

Include:

  •  Mountain guide and assistant
  •  Round trip transportation
  •  Team for group use (ropes, stakes, carabiners)
  •  Mountain equipment (crampons, mountain shoes, harness, helmet)
  •  Basic ascension talk with grampon and ice ax
  •  Glacier rappel.

Not Include:

  • Personal warm clothing (heater, jacket, gloves, hat, inner polar, etc.)
  • Entry fee to the huascaran national park (10 soles)
  • Food topics (bring fruit and water)
  • Glasses, sunscreen, gloves, hat, and / or similar
  • Rental of waterproof coats (8 soles), scarpines (7 soles), pants (8 soles), for more ask. (rent on your own)
