Huaraz – Yungay – llanganuco-Cebollapampa – Laguna 69— return to Huaraz
About the trip
Lake 69 is one of the most appreciated and visited sites in the Cordillera Blanca. It is one of the favorites of visitors that have marked it as one of the most popular with its magnificent mountain views in which I can mention , Huascarn, Chopicalqui, Yanapacha, Huandoy, Pisco, etc. The tour will begin at 5:00 am. By bus it will take some three hours from Hares to Cebollapampa. On the way you will see Lake Llanganuco with its spectacular landscape. Upon arriving to Cebollapampa we will begin the trek on a marked path and with a fairly difficult walk. On the road we will observe a great variety of flora, fauna, waterfalls, small lakes and the splendid mountains that beautify the landscape. Upon arriving at the lake, we will have about an hour to have lunch and take pictures and then we will return to Cebollapampa where the bus awaits us and finally we will head back to Huaraz.
Time of the trip : Three hours, normal time, at the beginning of the trek it will be flat for about 40 minutes and then uphill after that. The return is approximately two hours.
